  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside at Topsham. The Curacy is properly taken care of by John Walter and Samuel Eyre Esqrs who soon expect a Resident Curate Salary to be forty pounds per year and Surplice Fees, I have [no] Lecturer but the Curate.

  2. Other benefices: I have besides the Perpetual Cure of Topsham.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform no Divine Service being utterly deprived of sight.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed twice on every Sunday.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament is administred four times a year. There are about forty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer Season.

  7. Church fabric: All is well in this Respect.

  8. Glebe terrier: No Terrier ever came to my hands.

  9. Number of families: About Two hundred.

  10. Chapels: There is a Chapel building not yet made use of.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I know of no Papists, There are no Meeting=Houses.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No Charity School of any Consequence no Alms Houses, Hospital or other Endowment. No Library.

  13. Charity: There is Seven pounds a year given by Drake's Charity to the Lecturer or School Master of Littleham and four pounds & ten shill. a year to the Poor.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was Instituted into this Living by Bishop Lavington the 2d of December 1748. My Priest Orders will appear by consulting my Queries for Topsham.
